Welcome to Remindlly!
This is a quick tour to get you set up. Click "Next" to begin.
This is your Dashboard. You can see key stats like revenue, total clients, and upcoming renewals at a glance. The Dashboard link on the left is now highlighted.
Step 1: Set Up Your Business
Go to Settings > Company Details to add your logo and info.
This is crucial. Your Company Logo and Name will appear on all invoices and receipts.
Step 2: Configure Your Email
Go to Settings > SMTP Settings. Use the guide to set up Gmail.
This is required so the app can send email reminders. We recommend using a Google "App Password" as shown in the tutorial on that page.
Step 3: Check Email Templates
Go to Settings > Email Templates. A default template is already created for you.
You can edit the default template or create new ones. Use placeholders like {{client_name}} and {{service_name}} to customize your messages.
Step 4: Set Up Payments
Go to Settings > Payment Methods to add your bank or UPI details.
This is what your clients will see on the invoice. You can add bank transfers, UPI IDs, or even a custom "Pay Now" link (e.g., PayPal, Stripe).
Step 5: Customize Invoices
Go to Settings > Invoice Setup to set your PDF theme color and number format.
Set your invoice prefix (e.g., "INV-") and the theme color for your PDF invoices and receipts.
Step 6: Add Your Clients
Use the Clients tab to build your customer list. You can add them one-by-one or use the "Bulk Upload" button.
A Client is your customer. You only need to add their name and email to get started.
Step 7: Add Your Services
Use the Services tab to create the items you sell.
A Service is the item you charge for, like "Annual Maintenance" or "Domain Subscription." Set a name, amount, and default duration.
Step 8: Create an Assignment
This is the most important part. Go to Assignments to link a client to a service.
An Assignment connects a client to their service. Here you set the expiry date and the reminder date. This is what triggers the automatic email.
Step 9: The Workflow (You're Done!)
The app now handles the rest. Here's what happens:
- The system sends the reminder email on the date you set.
- Your client pays you and clicks the "Mark as Paid" link in their email.
- The item appears on your Renewals page.
- You click "Approve" to confirm payment. The app sends a receipt and sets the next year's expiry date automatically!
Step 10: View Documents
Go to the Documents tab to see all invoices and receipts.
This page logs every document generated by the system. You can view, download, or share a link to any invoice or receipt at any time.
Step 11: Check Reports
Go to the Reports tab to see your revenue.
This page shows your total revenue from all approved payments. You can filter by client, service, status, and date range.
